Access Statement

Exclusive Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, The Old Forge, Owermoigne, Dorchester, Dorset.

The Old Forge still retains some of its 18th Century character although Bed and Breakfast accommodation was added in 2003. Our guest accommodation is unique and situated mainly on the upper floor, accessible via staircase. Regretfully The Old Forge is therefore not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

Approach
The Old Forge is situated in a small road in the village of Owermoigne. From the A352, turn into Owermoigne, then Moreton Road, then left into Hollands Mead. As there is limited public transport in the village the accommodation is only really suitable for guests with their own transport or use of a hire car.

Adequate roadside parking, immediately outside main entrance
Layout
Master bedroom and separate bathroom, all private facilities on the upper floor. Breakfast is served in the family kitchen. Help is available with carrying luggage.
Smoking
The Old Forge is a non-smoking establishment
Safety
Smoke alarms are fitted throughout
Pets
We are unable to accommodate pets
Arrival
Check in times are from 16:00 hours on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged
Departure
You are required to vacate the rooms by 10:30am on the day of your departure, unless otherwise arranged.
Payment
We do not require a deposit, but would appreciate either a telephone call or email, to confirm your visit near the time. Regretfully we are unable to accept credit or debit cards. We do accept payment by cash (UK Sterling) or cheque.
Liability
Guests are responsible for all breakages or damage caused by them to the accommodation and/or its contents. We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles/possessions, unless proven to be caused by our negligence.
